FAQs
Shipping:
Most of the art works will ship flat and unframed in rigid packing, any exceptions will be noted in products description. After orders are received, please allow 2-3 business days for me to pack and ship the art works. Shipping options are either USPS priority mail or USPS First Class Parcel. For orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally, please contact me for a quote on shipping cost - please include specific information on which works you are interested in.
Returns and Exchanges:
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of receipt of item. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Framing Recommendations:
Both photos and prints are recommended to be framed so that the image area does not touch the clear acrylic/glass glazing of the frame.
This can be achieved for both types of art works by matting them. When matting photos, the opening should be about 1/8” inward from the image edge (i.e. 1/4” smaller than image height and width of the image). When matting prints, the opening should be large enough so that you can see the edition, title, and signature at the bottom and also have margins to the top, left, and right of the image (the margin for the top/left/right are usually equal in size and can be smaller than then bottom margin).
One of my favorite ways of framing prints is to float them, especially prints with deckled and torn edges. Just make sure to put in spacers between the clear acrylic/glass glazing and the mat that the print is floated on, so that the image surface does not touch the glazing.
See photos of different ways of framing mentioned above here.
